Im from Ohio and as a kid i was lazy when it came to taking care of my teeth. I do now. But i still dont have the greatest teeth. Need one pulled and teeth whitened, but my parents have no insurance. How much all together do you think it would cost?

Hello there. Well to get your tooth pulled would probably cost somewhere around 100$ . And to get them whitened would cost about 400 to 500$ . But the insurance would not cover the whitening of your teeth anyway. So together it would cost about 500 to 600$ which is a little pricey. I hope I helped and tht you can get this worked out.

Hello I work in a dental office and the majority of patients who want to whitening have really white teeth to begin with.

If you go to an office to get whitening they have an in-office done in a couple of hours and it is the best. However it cost $ 300-600. Not really worth other than it is fast results that last longer. The results vary for every patient. If your teeth look yellow they will lighten but if your teeth look more grey or brown you won't get good results.

Most offices also offer trays custom made for your mouth and will run you about $ 200-350. You wear the trays, like a mouthguard, for an hour day to overnight. Most people think this isn't bad but then they never wear them.

You can try over the counter for probably about $ 60. If I was to whiten this would be what I would do, unless you want to waste your money and go for the inoffice. You can buy a lot of strips for $ 600. Becareful because it can get addictive and you can ruin your teeth. You can also ask your dental office if the have strips that you can buy, like crest or listerine strips. They will be a little stronger in the office than over the counter.

How do teeth whitening products work? Whitening the teeth with the use of proper teeth whitening products or teeth whitening kits is both effective and safe. It is because none of the good quality teeth whitening products damage the enamel. If you are really looking for teeth whitening, normal toothpaste probably isn't enough just by itself.

To whiten your teeth it costs around $ 200;; but the cheapest way is by Crest White Strips and they run to $ 30-$ 40 and work VERY GOOD :] and you can try to remove the calcium deficiency with the white strips. Good Luck<3

I suffered from fluoride poisoning from the public water system when I was little, and now as an adult my teeth have bright white splotches on the off-white teeth. I was thinking of whitening my teeth to fix that, but whitening has to be done on the entire tooth, and the spots might become even whiter...
Would teeth whitening products help? Any recommendations or people who've tried this?

No, tooth whitening would NOT help in this case, The discoloration is WAY too deep inside the structure of the tooth. The best thing would be to get porcelain veneers made by your dentist. It involves little if any grinding of the tooth itself, and the results look extremely natural. It is not cheap, however, but it is significantly cheaper than getting crowns, and does not permanently damage the tooth like a crown would.

Hygienists do not make your teeth whiter. They clean your teeth of plaque and calculi which are difficult to remove by brushing (especially between teeth and under the gums). For whitening the teeth, you will have to consult the dentist who may give you various options.

Stop eating and drinking sugar, crazy. That's bad for your overall health and will affect to greatly when you get older. Foods that help you whiten are strawberries and lemons... Drink a lot of lemon water.. Fresh squeezed lemon and not some bottled lemon water... Brush with baking soda...

My dentist is pretty top of the line and he uses ZOOM and it cost $ 400 just for the whitening. He says its really good and everything but it only last for like 6 months or so.
