Question by jenessa: Some good teeth whitening home remedies that work fast?
I have recently found that i cannot use the normal mouthwash and the type that says whitening anywhere on it because an ingredient in it causes my throat to swell. So i was wondering if there are any teeth whitening remedies that i can use or homemade mouthwash seeing as i cant use the storebrands. Please no rude comments, and yes i do brush my teeth 3 times a day 5 min each.

okay first you need to get tooth paste (im sure you have some)
get baking soda ( ask your parents)

mix the soda(baking soda) into the paste (tooth paste)
after a couple brushes you can see that you teeth is whiter.
and you can barley taste the baking soda in the paste.

make sure you rinse out just like what you would do when you brush your teeth.

I am not able to save up enough to go get my teeth whitened professionally.
So what remedies do you stand by and how long does it take to work? I am in no hurry but, I want to have somewhat good results in the long run.

Here you go, mix a paste of baking soda and peroxide, and brush your teeth with it. Mix it in the palm of your hand, and scrape your toothbrush through it. Gonna cost you less than a dollar each for baking soda, and for peroxide, and it will last a long time. The dentist isn't going to tell you that, because it would put him out of the teeth whitening business!! You already know how expensive that is!

i've read of many kinds of home remedies for teeth whitening before.. and remembered that some are just plain bad for your teeth! does anyone know what i'm talking about?

maybe it was along the lines of.. lemons.. strawberries.. baking soda? im so not sure and i would like very much to have this cleared up.

Ive heard sulphuric acid is good, or mercury.
