I don't exactly have really white teeth, so I would like to know some fast, good, easy ways to get whiter teeth at home? Also, I heard that Crest whitening strips are good, but can anyone give me an estimation on how much they cost?

Crest whitening strips. I believe you can get them for like 35 dollars at walmart or target. Also the new Crest 3D is pretty nice. Takes off surface stains in 14 days.

What I do is mix a little baking soda with warm water until it is the consistency of a paste. Then apply it to your toothbrush and brush normally. You may wanna hold your nose to prevent your self from tasting g it because it may not be pleasant. Anyway, it is a quick, easy and cheap way to whiten your teeth.
ReplyDeleteBrush twice a day with an electric toothbrush. Electric toothbrushes help to get teeth even cleaner than a regular toothbrush.
ReplyDeleteOn a regular basis, use a whitener on your teeth. It could be one you brush on, or the strips you can buy or even the trays. Which ever you decide needs to be comfortable for you. Use as often as the directions on the product tell you to.
To get teeth extra white, use some baking soda on your toothbrush with your regular toothpaste. This will help get them extra white.
Floss once a day. Flossing helps teeth look better by getting in between them and getting plaque out from them.
Baking soda can help maintain whiteness (it wont noticeably whiten too much). Flossing makes a big difference, stain usually goes between the teeth, if you floss it will remove the plaque/food buildup and help keep your teeth white. Whitening toothpastes are not what they claim, reserach shows that they are able to 'maintain' whiteness but will not 'whiten.' they are also usually abrasive (thats how they are able to remove stain) and can harm enamel.
ReplyDeleteWhitening mouthwashes are a complete joke. for the amount of time you use a mouthwash (1 minute at most) there is no way your teeth can be whitened in that short amount of time with a low concentration of whitening ingredient.
Crest Whitestrips are your best cost-effective bet (~$ 40). They can whiten up to a few shades (not as drastic as in-office whitening). They are considered to be safe, although they are a newer product and im always a little weary about new products.
Whatever you do, do NOT go to a whitening kiosk in the mall. They are not trained dental professionals and are dealing with high levels of hydrogen peroxide which if not applied correctly can seriously damage your gums! Also, if you have any tooth colored fillings, these will NOT whiten like your natural teeth. They are just bad news, stay away.
Yes, right, crest white strips is easy ways, effective, safe and cheap to whiten teeth.
ReplyDeleteYou can choose one of crest product, the price is different as lower or higher of hydrogen peroxide ( $ 25 - $ 50)
