Honestly, I've found that taking a small amount of half peroxide and half water and swishing it in your mouth works wonders. It may take a couple of days to notice but it works great. Just make sure you rinse with water well afterwards... And don't swallow!!!!

ReplyDeleteI personally did this once-twice a week at most 3 times a week. You should not do this regiment for more than two weeks at a time and never back to back months. It may degrade the enamel.

I really think that the over the counter stuff works just as well as the professional kits. I've had the best luck with Crest White Strips, but Aquafresh White Trays are pretty decent as well. I know some people have had some issues with some uneven whitening from Aquafresh, but it's only at the beginning and it also works well by the time you go through the whole process. Make sure that you follow the directions on whatever you use though - you don't want to end up damaging your teeth because you got too impatient - that can be painful.
