After I get my braces removed, I plan on getting my teeth whitened. What is the average cost of having this procedure performed? Is there any chance it might be covered by my health plan?

It's a cosmetic procedure not covered by your health/dental plan. It usually runs about $ 400-500 for custom trays and the bleaching solution. Alternatively, you can ask about professional strength whitening strips which are only a little more expensive than the ones in the stores, but a higher strength. They may be willing to order them for you.
